Creative Cloud icon red dot after waking up a MacBook Pro

Hello all,

in the last few months every time that my MacBook Pro wakes up from sleep the icon of the Creative Cloud was a red dot. If I click on the icon and the app opens no errors of file synching is displayed or any new notifications. Any ideas how I can solve this issue?

that's supposed to mean there's a new notification. you can turn that off if it's not helpful, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/notifications.html

or you can try, resetting the cc app: To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
