Creative Cloud in Activity Monitor Preventing Sleep

Several weeks ago I noticed my computer wasn't going to sleep. I checked System Preferences -> Energy Saver and no issue. Then I went to the Activity Monitor -> Energy and saw that in the column labeled "Preventing Sleep" that "Creative Cloud" had "Yes" (see picture below). Not sure if it's ok to click on "Creative Cloud" then click on the "i" at the top of the screen then click "Quit" then "Force Quite"

To get to Activity Monitor, click on the finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor

if you have file syncing enabled your may be trying to sync a problematic file. to test, disable syncing and see if cc's cpu impact drops significantly.

Can you provide the steps to disable syncing? Do I just force quit the "Core Sync" and "Core Sync Helper" in the Activity Monitor?

Update: I ended up force quitting "Creative Cloud" and my computer can sleep now. The only repercussion I've experienced is that when I make changes to an adobe illustrator file the "Save" feature doesn't appear to work so I "Save as" and replace the file. Still, if I close the file without saving it asks, "Do you wish to save" so I should be fine. Another thing I noticed is that "Creative Cloud" is no longer in the Activity Monitor at all. Not sure what issues that will cause and if there is a way to reactivate it if needed. Here's a picture of my activity monitor now:

Also, just an additional note that I didn't mention in my initial question: all the adobe programs were fully closed when it was preventing sleep (illustrator, photoshop, acrobat, etc) which doesn't make sense to me. Why is adobe running and preventing the computer from sleeping if I have all the programs fully closed?

I found the answer to two of the questions above:

"Open Creative Cloud from the menu bar. Find the gear icon to open Creative Cloud preferences. Choose the Syncing pane, and select Pause Syncing. This will immediately stop Activity Monitor from listing Creative Cloud as preventing sleep."

Still, don't understand why adobe stays running when the programs are closed. I've seen several forums but no definitive answer if someone could provide a reference.
