Creative Cloud install fails with "Failed to Acquire installation lock." error in PDApp.log.

I am running Mac OS X 10.10.  I have already run the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool as suggested, but I continue to get error code 1 installation failures when running the Creative Cloud Installer.  The PDApp.log file shows the error "Failed to Acquire installation lock."

I have tried all of those and I am still getting the same error.
