Creative Cloud install issue

I am having an installing issue with Adobe creative cloud. When installing, it encounters an error code:72 and does not proceed further with the installation. Please help!

I have installed all available updates but unfortunately, it's still showing the same error code and is not installing.


Try the steps given here:

"Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

And please make sure to reboot your computer before you proceed with reinstalling the application.

I've followed the steps in the link. It's still showing the same error and is unable to install. I've also uninstalled all Adobe products and now I'm unable to install any Adobe products. Even Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is reporting an installation error and I desperately need it to view pdf files.

Hi Indy22s,

As you are getting "Error code 72" while trying to update Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app and you have already tried running the installer as administrator but it didn't help, i would recommend you to follow the troubleshooting steps shared in the following help document to resolve the issue:"Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

right click the installer and click 'run as administrator'.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work either.
