More troubleshooting ideas?

Creative Cloud Installer & Application Manager issues

CONTEXT:

•   I have an updated Creative Cloud membership.*

•   I need to update Photoshop CC 2014 and Adobe Photoshop CC (also for Illustrator)

•   I do not have a CC Application Manager any longer.  My application files show the old CC app and the Uninstaller app are only aliases.   Deleting them didn't help

PROBLEM:
WHAT HAPPENS?  Using a new Creative Cloud Installer to get a new CC Application Manager the downloading blue bar begins but breaks up by disappearing. Once I got the download bar past 51 %, but now it breaks up immediately.

Photo below shows the computer screen's top bar with a blank pull-down menu where Creative Cloud should display an update list of Adobe apps.

What is going wrong?

The discussion page hasn't suggested something that works yet.

Anyone I can call at Adobe?  Frustrating !!!!!!

Hi,

Please try the following steps and see if this helps:

1- Force Quit all Adobe related processes from Activity Monitor (eg- Creative Cloud, Core sync, CC library, Adobe Desktop Services, Adobe IPC broker, Adobe Crash daemon etc.)

2- Go To: Finder > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installer > Uninstall Adobe Creative cloud ( if having trouble uninstalling it Trash it )

3- Go To: Finder > Applications > Utilities > ( Delete these two folders - Adobe creative cloud and Adobe Application Manager )

4- Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option. You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( " Do not miss ~ symbol " )

~/library ( It will open User Library folder. )

5- Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe> trash OOBE folder and AAM Updater folder as well

6- Again > Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.> You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.

/library ( It will open System Library folder.)

7- Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe> trash OOBE folder and Adobe Application Manager / after this rename the file SL-STORE as SL-STORE_OLD

8- Go to Apple icon > System preferences > security and privacy > Firewall > TURN OFF ( to do this you will have to click on the padlock in the left bottom corner of this machine and then enter your mac password)

9- Go to Apple icon > System preferences > security and privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from should be on ANYWHERE

10- Make sure there are no other Internet security program enabled - if not then go ahead and launch CC app and sign in and check (Check your browser extensions as well id there any security toolbar or advertisement blocking extensions installed disable them)

11- Run Adobe Cleaner tool. > If present, Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .
