Creative Cloud is blocked.

My creative cloud has been stuck on a self update at 42% "Creative Cloud Update". This is blocking me from accessing my new font downloads as well as other features such as signing out. 

 

I have tried force quitting the application on my desktop as well as stopping all automatic updates.

 

How can I fix this?

I had a similar issue.

Make sure that you have all Windows updates that are available.

The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.

You might need to try re-installing the desktop app as well.  I ran into this once and had to also go into the system library (mac) and delete preferences folders to get it unstuck.

use your task manager (win) or activitiy monitor (mac) to terminate.

 

then restart your computer and check if the update completed.
