Creative Cloud is missing and Error 50

Recently, I've been getting the "Creative Cloud is missing or damaged" error message. I tried uninstalling everything, using the CC Cleaner tool to remove files, and manually deleted everything adobe related from my C drive. Whenever I tried to install the creative cloud program again, I would get error 50. Tried disabling antivirus and firewall, but still no success... It wasn't until I phoned Adobe Support and had them do a remote control session that it was finally able to work... Now, 7 days later, it's all happened again. I genuinely haven't had any problems until this last week, and I don't want to get to a point where I'm having to phone support every week just to be able to do any work. If there is anyone who knows a fix, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nathan

What operating system are you using?

Error 50 is a permissions error code.

Your OS is keeping you from writing to certain folders or your register properly.

You are installing this on a hard drive volume on your machine right?

Need more info

I'm using Windows 7, installing to D drive .I understand Adobe installs to C by default but I have junction links that point to D. This has not caused any issue before

You mean that you change your install location to D drive in ACC

preferences?

Have you R-clicked the ACC icon and under preferences selected "run as

administrator" by chance?

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
