Creative Cloud loading at login

Hi everyone,

Does anyone else have the problem at login, that Creative Cloud takes too long to load and requests user to reload?

Or am I the only one experiencing this problem.

It's not a major problem, as some seem to experience, but it is irritating.

I've been on chat with Adobe to reconcile this; it's better than it was but far from perfect.

Dread to think what Adobe Max will be like.

Anyway! Have now disable auto load at login to see if this improves anything.

Takes too long to load almost every time. No reason... just takes long, then sometimes says, "relaunch" because it took too long. Very annoying. It should be snappy fast. Then often I will try to open DW or PS and it makes me sign in, when in fact I never signed out! These apps are for us to be able to work very fast and be creative yet this main CC app slows me down.
Seems to have been a problem since the entire thing began. I liked when I could just have my apps installed and working and I update them when I want.

1. Disable Creative Cloud desktop app from your startup menu.  Consult your operating system's documentation about that.

 

2. Go to CC desktop app > Avatar > Preferences > Settings and disable launch at login.  See screenshot below.

Do you have the latest Creative Cloud desktop app 5.0.0.354?  It's a really big update that came out last month.

I just opened mine on Win 10.  Only took 5 seconds to launch.   That said, I don't use many cloud fonts or much cloud storage.

I set it to NOT load at startup. Works for me.

I use Creative Cloud on Windows 10, but the load time is not so long

that it becomes a no problem.
.
It is known that it takes time when there is a lot of cloud storage consumption,

too many activations of Adobe fonts, so if you have some thoughts, you can pause the synchronization of the cloud storage, One way is to deactivate Adobe fonts.
