Question

Creative Cloud not installing

I have just purchased a new Windows 10 desktop computer to run Lightroom and Photoshop.

I am currently unable to install Creative Cloud to download them.

I am repeatedly getting the message that it's taking longer than usual to load. No error codes.

I have tried relaunching, quitting and relaunching, uninstalled and reinstalled, checked the Get Help pages and completed all suggestions but to no avail.

Seems to be a regular issue judging by the forum posts.

Would love to stay with Lightroom & Photoshop but need help getting it set up.

first, clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you have trouble downloading, use the alternative download site at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

Many thanks for responding to my post.

Unfortunately what you have suggested is a repetition of what has been recommended from previous posts and troubleshooting guides I have found.

I have tried them all however what I found that worked was downloading and installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable (64bit). I found this solution on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9MS6-Vr5J8).

Maybe this may help for others.

Kind regards,
