Creative Cloud not loading apps

Hi,

I have bought a one-year subscription to a Creative Cloud Photography plan, I have already been charged for two months, but I haven't been able to use any of the desktop apps. I have installed Creative Cloud but it won't load the apps, it keeps giving me a download error message. It also keeps asking for an update (which never makes any progress), although I have uninstalled and re-downloaded Creative Cloud several times.

I have also tried deleting the files on the AAMUpdater and OOBE folders, but these just keep reappearing and the trick hasn't worked at all.

This is very frustrating and I'm starting to get really upset... Can anyone help me?

My OS is Windows 7.

Thanks,

Anna

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

if you see both logos,

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Thanks for your answer kglad, but I followed all the steps and it didn't work. I'm back to where I was, the CC desktop app won't load any of the apps and it keeps asking me for an update, when it's already the latest version (Creative Cloud 4.4.1.298) ...

When I checked that I could connect to the servers I could see both logos.
