Creative Cloud Not Showing Installed Apps that Shortcuts to the App work with the Latest Version

If I open Lightroom Classic through the desktop shortcut - it opens no problem to the latest 9.2 version.  If I try to open it through the Creative Cloud app - it doesn't even show up as an installed app (neither does Photoshop and other apps - Only Bridge which I don't even use).  I rather not reinstall because I'm afraid of messing up with the wrong catalog etc.  - and besides why should it have to be reinstalled?  Would appreciate any suggestions.
