Creative cloud not starting

I just downloaded creative cloud, and when I open it, all I see is the blue loading circle. As long as I leave it there, it does not stop. I have perfect wifi, and everything but it just won't work.

    follow solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

    Creative cloud won't even show the main page, it's just the blue loading circle.
