Question

Creative Cloud only operational near internet

Greetings,

I have seen varaiations on this discussion with no clear resolution and so open this thread in the hopes that 1) Adobe is reading this 2) An effective solution is reached.

I am a CC subscriber and noticed that Adobe CC products will not work unless I have an internet connection. I have various products installed such as Photoshop, AfterEffects, Dream Weaver and the like. However, when I am (trying to work) in transit, I am prompted to sign in before using any of the products. If I do not sign in, the products shut down. I have called customer service and looked through forums, but there is no clear, definitive solution.

According to other Adobe clients, this seems to be standard Adobe operating procedure. Calls to Adobe client services leads to flat-out denials and the claim that if you have CC products installed, you only need to sign in once every three months. Experience shows that you need to sign in EVERY TIME you use the product.

1) HOW DO YOU GET ADOBE PRODUCTS OPERATIONAL WHEN YOU ARE OFF LINE?

A clear, simple, definitive answer other than 'call tech support' would be most valued.

Thanks.

No. Your Creative Cloud desktop applications (such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) are installed directly on your computer, so you won't need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis.

An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your desktop apps, but you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days.

For annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.

Hello AMreso,

What you have done was contradict me. You did not answer my question. Let me repeat the question.

HOW DO I GET ADOBE PRODUCTS WORKING WHILE OFF LINE?

The fact is, when off line, I get prompted to sign in. If I launch say Dreamweaver or Photoshop, I am instructed to sign in. Adobe staff cannot or will not help. If what you say is true, then there should be a straightforward process to disable the sign-in prompt each time I need to use the application when not near an internet connection.

Please answer the question. If you do not know the answer, that is fine. Hopefully someone will answer.
