Creative cloud photography plan problems

I have an ongoing valid Creative Cloud Photography Plan which my Adobe account confirms is valid until April 17. I have been successfully using the downloaded desktop Lightroom and Photoshop apps for over 1 year. When prompted I install the updates and have never had any problems. But now (1 week ago) the Creative Cloud says I only have trial copies and the Photoshop app has expired. If I click on the cog and select manage account it clearly confirms that my plan is still active. What do I do to reactivate my licence copies of Lightroom and Photoshop? I have the PC version. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Sheena for trying to help.

1. Yes tried signing in and out multiple times

2. I am guessing I have the correct ID if when I click on the cog and manage account it shows an active creative cloud photography plan

3. I have tried renaming OOBE as you suggested but alas it keeps reverting to trial expired/buy now.

I have tried uninstalling both lightroom, and photoshop and creative cloud and reinstalling them but again no joy. I know it is probably something simple but so far I have spent 7 hours trying to solve it!!!!

Please note it was working fine for over a year.

Please try the steps below:

  • Sign out from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application (Sign in and sign out to activate Creative Cloud apps)
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\ProgramData\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLStore' folder to 'SLStore_old'
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLCache' folder to 'SLCache_old'
  • Sign in to the Adobe CC desktop app

Hi Ned,

I have just spent 3 hours trying all of your suggestions but alas every time I launch  the creative cloud app on my desktop it defaults to say my trial has ended. So frustrating! I am so behind on developing images to send to a number of clients. Please help. If it helps I have noticed that when I log out and log back in it momentarily says "Up to date" before quickly switching back to "buy now". Is something overriding it? I am pulling my hair out. What do I do next?

Hi Graham,

Have you tried signing out and signing in back to the Creative Cloud desktop app?

Make sure you use the correct Adobe ID under which you have the active subscription.

If the issue still persists, please try the steps below:

Rename OOBE to OOBE_old from the following location--

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\
  • %localappdata%/Adobe

Let us know if that helps!

Regards,

Sheena
