Creative Cloud Problem

After updates to my apps to 2019 versions I was asked to sign in to Creative Cloud.  I couldn't remember off hand my password but was given the choice (I thought) to sign in with facebook or google.  So thinking I was signing in with my google account I filled in the email and password.  In fact what this did was start a new CC account for trying out Adobe apps.  Effectively now I have my real CC account with payments etc and the false account for trying apps and this latter account is stopping me using my original real account.  Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.  I tried contacting Adobe help but it seems to be a ghost.

sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application using the same adobe id used to verify your subscription:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
