Creative Cloud problems

I have downloaded and installed Adobe onto a second computer (I have a 2 computer annual subscription); it installs the Creative Cloud initially - but extremely slowly, and then tells me to install Adobe Acrobat from the CC. Again, this takes a very long time with notifications that it is taking longer than normal. Once all is installed, I then periodically get notifications - even when I'm not using Adobe, that 'Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the CC from ...'  The original computer I have the system installed on is very rarely on at present so I am not running the software on 2 computers simultaneously.  I am trying to install onto an HP laptop with the following specs.

 

Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3060 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.85 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
