Creative cloud problems with windows

I have tried 3 different PC'S and 2 different Operating systems and Creative cloud still causes issues and fails to work properly, causing windows programs etc to stop working!!

All i ever get is windows is the problem!!   Even a complete idiot could tell you Adobe is the issue!!  but i never get any adobe tech support agent that knows what they are doing!

I've had a few remote sessions with adobe and they still can't sort this out!!

I have also had more than one remote session with microsoft support and they do know what they are doing!!   And they clearly state as anyone with more than one working brain cell would know and agree that ADOBE is the problem!!

No im not on a work proxy, but thanks for the help.

Oh and Abimbo  my rant didn't make me feel better and if you read all comments you'll see the issue.

When you spend Days and many hours remotely connected to so called IT tech agents who have no idea, then it can get very frustrating as im sure you can empathise with.

Anyway!  I have now fixed the issue - It is the cloud installer and fonts that caused the problem.

I will not post my fix on here as adobe so called tech staff can figure it out for themselves.

Oh, I can understand your frustration but your entry post is not at all helpful to get information on the problem. If you want help, please keep it straight to the point. We here at the fora are not Adobe but users with multitudes of experience. One possibility could be to describe the problem and do the rant afterwards. And keep it clean. We like that more and it makes us more productive. And possible help comes faster.

Abimbo - what don't you understand about programs dont open when cloud is installed etc?

And what part of my rant is unclean? Are you someone who gets easily offended by people who are not being offensive?

And i also have many years IT experience particulary software and have done what Adobe couldn't and fixed the issue. So none of your help needed, not that you did anyway!

I'm sorry that you have a bad experience and your rant will may be help you to feel better but no one can give you help based on your description.

So all I can say is that we have CC running on 7+ Windows stations, my personal CC subscription runs on 2 other stations and my teacher friend has also CC running on a Windows and one MacOS system.

May be you start with telling us your OS versions and the cloud versions. What is your virus checker?

As soon as the creative cloud app is installed windows programs wont open or work etc such things as the the start menu wont open either etc.

This only happens when the app is installed, everything works as normal when it is not installed.

Hi

Perhaps you could explain in more detail the exact issues you have, you haven't mentioned whether it's an install issue with the CC app or the applications themselves.

Provide as much detailed information as possible, i.e system specs, any error messages you're getting etc

I'm getting "Error 500: Internal Server Error" when I go to https://creativecloud.adobe.com

Well you're not the only one getting that error, just checked using Firefox, but it loads fine with Internet Explorer 11

Edit: the above was tested on my work PC which uses a proxy, tested on another PC which is not on the work domain and Firefox opened it fine

Have you tried uninstalling the CC app using this tool

Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application
