Question

Creative Cloud Services Install

Hello,
I'm really sorry to contact you but I am racking my brains as I can no longer access my subscribed apps.
The creative cloud installer runs and then attempts to open Creative Cloud, it then fails, a short blue wheel appears next to the cursor and then nothing. Each time I try to run it I get the same issue.

I then cannot install photoshop or lightroom and am getting extremely frutrated with trying to troubleshoot.

I have uninstalled my apps via Advanced Uninstaller Pro 13

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks In Advance

Liam

Well, after a complete Windows 10 reinstall the errors are gone and I can now install Creative Cloud, Photoshop & Lighroom without issue

Thanks for the update, Liam. I am sorry you had to go to such drastic measures as reinstalling Windows 10 to use Photoshop and Lightroom CC successfully.

I would recommend avoiding using third-party utilities like Advance Uninstaller Pro when removing Adobe applications in the future. Using a method, Adobe has not developed can leave the software in an unexpected state that can be difficult to recover from. I agree that such utilities are helpful if you are trying to avoid the sometimes necessary step of reinstalling the operating system.

Please bookmark https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html and https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html in case you need to remove Adobe applications in the future, Liam. The first document provides the recommended removal method for Creative Cloud applications, and the second links to a utility that can be used to remove most installed Adobe software.

Liam, sorry you are encountering problems using your Creative Cloud membership.  When was the last time you could use the Creative Cloud desktop app successfully?  What operating system are you using Photoshop and Lightroom on?  Finally, do you encounter any errors when you reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app?

Hello Jeff,

Thank you for the reply. I am currently on Windows 10  with the latest updates.
I have changed my primary HDD to an M.2 drive and when I install Creative Cloud app it says it is installed but then does not open. I get a spinning circle and then nothing
