Creative Cloud update stalling

Hi,

Whenever I try and update my creative cloud apps the update stalls indefinitely at 50%. There are no error messages or anything of the sort but I could leave the app 'updating' for days and it would never move beyond 50%.

What's peculiar is that while this applies to the majority of apps it does not apply to all of them. Illustrator (2015) and Acrobat for example update without issue. The apps that are specifically stalling at 50% at present are Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder CC.

I am on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 - 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 32 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (I don't know if that's useful?)

This is my work computer, I flagged the issue with the IT department who were unable to figure it out even after uninstalling and then reinstalling everything and who then gave me a brand new computer where after completing a fresh install the problem persisted. No one else in my team who are also on Creative Cloud are experiencing this issue.

To make matters even more confusing I am using the same Creative Cloud account on my personal computer at home (also a MAC) and I am experiencing no difficulties. Everything is working as it should.

Can anybody help?

No. It's an iMac not a laptop so I'm sadly limited to the wireless options I can access from the office, some of which are provided by companies other than my own, which I have tried but no personal or home options.

I also experienced updates stalling on existing computer and on a new computer installs stall in the same manner.

I never had any problems untill the Adobe Creative Cloud was updated in ~ October - November.

My systems are - Windows 10 with latest updates and CenturyLink DSL for Internet connection.

Trying the various suggestions didn't help.  After much ado and many tries the Cloud app installed and then with many attempts Lightroom got updated but Photoshop would not update; it would just stall.  I waited for my new computer and exact same issues.

Resolution - Packed computers up and took to a location with highspeed Internet.  Everything worked just fine!

I was just installing the desktop version on programs!!

Questions:

1.) Has Adobe created a monster with the Creative Cloud App?

2.) During the updates and new installs I noticed huge uploads taking place.  Why? Why? Why is this happening? This is probably the main cause of the installs because DSL Internet connections have dismal uplink speeds

3.) Is CenturyLink restricting traffic?  Perhaps but other updates and installs work along with watching movies.

Hi,

Did you try over another network?

I gave it a go after reading your message but the same issue persists sadly! It was worth a try though.
