Creative cloud updates Photoshop CC do different Drive.

I have set my Creative Cloud preferences to install apps to my F drive.   F:\adobe

However when I went to upgrade Photoshop CC (v20.0.1) it installed it on my C: Drive.

C:\Program files\Adobe

This is my preference settings.

Under Apps tab.

Install Locations: F:\adobe

Under Files Tab

folder Location F:\adobe.

Instead of update photoshop CC 2019 on the F:\adobe, it installed it on my C:\Program Files\Adobe

Can someone tell me why this has happened.  Is there a bug in the update file, with creative cloud. 

This become an issue with lightroom classic when I send images to photoshop, as it loads the photoshop v19 which is located on my F:\adobe folder.

Trevor, sorry that Photoshop CC is being installed to the C: drive and not recognizing the custom install location.  Can you please post a screenshot of the Install location from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application preferences?  Info on how to post a screenshot can be found at FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video? .

What other Adobe applications do you have installed on the computer?  Photoshop CC 2018 and Lightroom Classic CC?  Are there any other applications installed?  What version of Windows are you installing on?  Finally, Trevor, is the F: drive a partition on the same drive or is it a different physical drive?
