Creative Desktop app disappeared and won't re-install
Win 8.1. Creative Cloud desktop app has disappeared (not for the first time); have re-downloaded but won't re-install. Adobe error message : "Installer failed to initialize... please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem". No link is given and I can't find a Adobe Support Advisor download.
What to do?
PS. Google found the Adobe Support Advisor download (waste of time using Adobe's menus, of course). Downloaded and installed but it reports "Inspection could not identify any issues". So back to square one, what to do?
