Creative Suite 2 incompatible with OS 10.8.4

I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro (OS 10.8.4) and was hoping to install my CS2 from way back when. I now see that PowerPC is not supported on the more recent versions of OS X and the Rosetta software only supports up until about OS 10.7 . I saw that when Apple started phasing out PowerPC, Adobe offered codes for Adobe users affected by this. What can I do so that I can successfully install my CS2 onto my new computer? Help!

There's no way around this I'm afraid. CS2 will never run on a new Intel Mac with Mountain Lion and Adobe offer no upgrades or discounts to help. You just have to start again with CS6.

Hi aoves,

CS2 is a very old product and is not supported with Mountain Lion. Please find the system requirement for installing CS2:http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-photoshop.html#main_Older_Versions .
