Help. The hard drive on my iMac died and was replaced.  its running Lion 10.7.5 My previous HD was OS X Snow Leopard.  I was running Creative Suite, I have all the disks but can not load on new HD "can't open Adobe Installer because PCApps no longer supported".  How do i get the software I purchased to run so I can access my files (on stick and reloaded onto iMac) so I can edit and export.

thanks!

Forget about installing CS2 then 2.3 then CS5.5. It's not necessary.

Besides - as you have discovered - CS2 (a PowerPC application written for PowerPC chips) will not install on modern Macs with Intel chips and OS X 10.7 or later.

All you need to do is install the CS5.5 upgrade version.

Download CS5.5 from Download CS5.5 products

Enter your CS5.5 upgrade serial number then enter your CS2.3 serial number when asked to enter the serial number for an earlier qualifying version.

Thanks for the tip.  I attempted to do so, but when it came time to enter a serial number for my Creative Suite 2 Premium, there was no option for that version in the pulldown menu (only CS3) and I cant install CS2 from my disks because of the error msg.
