I have Creative Suite 6 and can't get Adobe Acrobat CS6 to install on MacBook pro with El Capitan 10.11.5. Everything else installs fine. I desperately need to make PDFs and edit them. Can anyone help me?

It simply stops installing after a few minutes. I was installing from an external cd/dvd drive. All other applications installed just fine. I tried 4 times. I am on vacation and

I am not at my office now, and won’t be for another 3 weeks, so I can’t reproduce or recreate the situation. I am stuck with a download of Adobe Reader. I need it to separate some pages from a pdf. as a temporary fix to my issues.

copy the installation files from your drive to a desktop directory.  install from that desktop directory.

after installation you can delete the desktop files.
