Creative Suite Failed to Initialize?

I've been trying all night to install some form of a Photoshop trial with no success. Downloading the installer goes without a hitch, but when I go to install, I get a message saying "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." That's all well and good until the Advisor ends up not having any answers either. Now, here's the twist.

I tried installing Photoshop CS5 as well, and got the exact same message. I then assumed that I couldn't install any more adode programs because of an unidentified bug. However, when I tried to install the latest version of Flash, it worked perfectly fine. I can only assume now that Creative Suites are the issue here, regardless of iteration or version.

By the way, I'm running OSX Mountain Lion, if that helps.

Does anyone have and idea as to what my issue could be?

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and try again.

Thanks for the reply. I did run the Cleaner Tool and checked every CS option available. There was nothing to be found. I ran the Cleaner Tool anyways just in case, and am still unable to install any CS programs.
