CS2 and Mac El Capitan

Question

I used this link to legally download Photoshop CS2, and I tried downloading it, and my mac said to contact you, I have downloaded the software 10.11.3 El Capitan, and was wondering if I can get help with this problem, I'm a senior in high school, who is broke and in need of photoshop. If there can be a version compatible with my new mac software so I be downloaded, with would be greatly appreciated.

There is a way to run Photoshop CS2 on your new Mac with Wine.

1) Install Wine for Mac http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/

2) get the Windows version of Photoshop CS2

3) install it and run the Photoshop exe.

It can get a bit involved and technical, though.

Alternatively, you write you "need" Photoshop - but many alternatives exist which are either very inexpensive or free with which the same tasks can be accomplished.

Or, if you can afford to save 34 cents a day, you can subscribe to the Photoshop/Lightroom Photographer's plan, which is $9.99 a month.
