cs2 download problem

I just purchased a new (windows 7) computer and wanted to put my CS2 onto it.  Using the discs, I loaded it on to the new computer but discovered that Adobe will no longer authenticate it but gave instructions on how to download a CS2 version on-line.  Long story short, I was only able to download "disc 1," of the virtual discs  When it asked to load in disc 2, I did not know how to load the virtual disc (clicking the button didn't do it.  Photoshop and Bridge loaded okay, but did not get In Design or Illustrator.  Thought that I had followed all of the instructions, but without success. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

Downloading is what you do to get a file from the Internet to your computer... Installing is what you do after you download

So... did you only download one file, and did the link indicate there should be more than one file for the CS2 program you downloaded?

Yes, thank you for the reply.

I successfully downloaded, from Adobe, 3 Creative suite "Discs" labeled CreativeSuiteCS2Disc1 through 3.  There was also one with "Extras," a compressed zipped folder, and a pdf with install instructions. Six items total.

Somehow I installed the first disc, but don't know how to install the other discs.
