I have CS3 and all of the products are saying that my licensing has expired and that I need to reinstall the software, which I have now done 3 times, but it still saying it is not licensesd so that I should contact someone from Adobe. I cannot even open PDF files on my computer now, which is crazy frustrating.

I just uninstalled CS3 again and then ran the Adobe Cleaner product and reinstalled CS3 and still no luck.

What version of OS X are you running? This problem is usually caused by a damaged user account from upgrading the OS or using Migration Assistant.

Does installing from a new user account work?

If someone from Adobe could please respond to this post, that would be great. How you can refer me to a forum for my only source of support for this product and then not answer me in a timely manner is beyond frustrating.

I am going to share the little information I have ... quite a few years ago CS3 failed on me and the normal approach of reinstalling failed to get the licensing back in place. So I searched for whatever I could find and did get it working again for a number of years.  The last time it gave out I gave in.

Reinstall CS3 - when normal fails

Ned, thanks for sharing. I am working on a Mac computer, so your notes (at least on the 2nd link) aren't useable for me. Thank you though.

I am so frustrated at how Adobe offers NO phone or chat support for any products that are not cloud subscription based and the only support offered is through a forum that I have doubts if it will ever be answered. I just want to be able to use the products that I paid for. The only option the software is giving me is to contact Adobe support. Very, very frustrated.

What do I need to do to make things right and get CS3 working on my computer again. I have the Creative Cloud on my main computers, but I want to keep CS3 on this computer.
