CS3: new key not valid

I followed all of the steps form the thread "CS3 - Still getting Activation Error Message with new Installer" multiple times and I still can't use my CS3, I keep getting the message that my activation key is not valid after getting the new installation files and serial number.

I uninstalled EVERY adobe program on my computer, did the clean up, deleted the cache file (cache.db), reinstalled and still get that the key is not valid.

Please help

Hello hollyj91289762,

As your are getting the error of invalid serial number, you need to generate the new serial number to get your CS3 product installed.

Follow the below steps to do a clean install [It will surely resolve your issue]:

Steps To be followed  for Windows:

New Download Link For cs3 :

Step1: First Uninstall the Cs3  from Computer.

Step2: And then Uninstall the other Application as well regards with Adobe.

Step3: Now go to C- drive in your computer delete folder Adobe

Delete Adobe Folder from this Locations:

Locations: C- drive-Programme file- Adobe

Locations: C- drive-Programme file- Common files-Adobe

Locations: C- drive-Programme file x86:- Adobe.

Locations: C- drive-Programme file x86:- Common files:Adobe.

Locations: C- drive- Programme Data(This is hidden file it wont show directly in your c-drive you have to open your Hiddens files then it will show) Programme Data- Delete Adobe.

Step 4: Run The Adobe Cleaner Tool from the below link for Windows:

Step 5: now redownload the product from the link:

https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-suite/kb/cs3-product-downloads.html

Step 7: Now reinstall the product and once it get installed please open the application and Enter the new Serial Number for the same.

uninstall cs3 (using the uninstaller)

clean per http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

remove the cache.db file from Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/

restart your computer

The problem is I did all that and its telling me that my new key is not valid... a few times.

you manually removed the old license from your computer?
