CS3 Too Many Activations

Hi, All

After several years of not using CS, I'm trying to reinstall my CS3 suite on my current computer.

When I try to activate using my original software keys (one for Acrobat Pro, one for the CS Suite), I receive the error  "Too Many Activations" and am directed to enter another key, or purchase a new product.

I have attempted to use the Adobe Chat support, but was first transferred to volume licensing, and then told CS3 was no longer supported via Chat support (both times after lengthy discussions and waits and after providing software keys and version numbers up front).

Since I no longer have access to the (much older) machine this was installed on, I have no way of deactivating it. And without support from someone at Adobe to reset the activation counter, it looks like I'm stuck buying another copy 😕😕

Any suggestions?

    adobe support should help you.  sometimes you get someone that doesn't know how to help or even that they should help.  retry.

    Should is the key word there.

    I will try them again when I have some free time.

    That said, I have already started to receive phishing messages as a result of this thread. Way to go Adobe for not having a means to report fraudulent users...
