CS3 won't install completely under OS X 10.6.8

I'm attempting to move CS3 Web Premium from my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6.8) to my iMac (OS X 10.8.3). When I run the installer on my iMac the following are NOT installed:

* Flash

* Illustrator

* Photoshop

* Shared Components

* Create Suite 3 Web Premium

I then went online to the Adobe site and read that I need to deactivate my license before trying to install on another computer. I did this from my MacBook and also uninstalled the suite using Adobe's uninstaller. I've rerun the installer on my iMac but the above applications still do not load.

I've even completely uninstalled CS3 from my iMac, rebooted, and attempted a fresh/clean install. Still no luck.

Any ideas?

    Yes, I actually did the migration first. Photoshop ran once and told me I had to register within 30 days. I tried re-registering, but got a numeric error code from Adobe. After that Photoshop ceased to run. That is why I tried the fresh install.

    I was going to get PS CS6 anyway so I just went ahead and ordered it. I’ll install that and I’ll be fine.

    Thanks for the quick feedback. I really appreciate it.

    Robert did you use the Migration assistant at all to move over files or did you only manually copy over your documents and settings?

    Bob I am afraid that you may also face the same difficulties with CS6.  Adobe applications are not designed to be moved from one computer to another and it is likely that your file permissions on the migrated computer have been compromised due to this action.

    If you end up facing installation difficulties with CS6 then please see Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html for information on how to review your installation logs for errors.

    In the future please only use the Migration assistant to move over your documents and settings.  You will then want to reinstall your applications, from your installation media, on the new computer/installation.
