CS4 install issue

While installing CS4 on a Mac (OS 10.6.8), the Set Up/Progress window disappears before Disk 1 is done. I ejected disk and reloaded it, but the same happens.

Do you receive any error messages?  What have you tried so far to resolve your difficulties?

Hi, Jeff—thank you for responding.

I didn't get an error message, the dialog box simply disappeared. Some applications had downloaded (Bridge), others only partially (InDesign), others not at all (Photoshop).

I tried inserting the disk once again, and selecting the applications that hadn't initially downloaded from the Set Up menu. It is installing; let's see if it completes the operation. Will let you know!
