cs4 serial key not working

Question

I have licence of design standard CS4, and downloaded setup from adobe site but serial no showing wrong. Please help

forwarded me to forum and I know sharing serial no is issue but how can I

show my problem . why adobe not supporting one to one in mail.

Sandeep Son I am sorry that you are facing difficulty utilizing your volume license serial number for Creative Suite 4 Production Premium for Mac OS. As was discussed in case 0221761711 you will need to download and utilize the volume license installation files to use the serial number.

If your organization choose the download option, at the time of purchase, then the installation files will be available at https://licensing.adobe.com/. The installation files will only be available under the accounts/deploy-to ID's chosen at the time of purchase.

Alternately, I would recommend locating the installation CDs provided to your organization with your purchase. If the current computer does not have an optical drive then you can copy the files to a USB drive on a computer that does feature an optical drive.

assuming you're using a valid adobe serial number (6 groups of 4 numbers), you have a mismatch between your installation file and serial number. ie, you can have a valid serial number, but if it's for program A and your installation file is for program B, you will see an invalid serial number message.

common mismatches are language/region (eg, serial number is for western europe and installation file is eastern europe), platform (eg, serial number is for a mac and installation file is win), license type (eg, education vs enterprise vs individual).

and one of the most common is using a program installation file with a suite's serial number. eg, using a cs6 suite serial number with a photoshop cs6 installation file. that won't work even though photoshop is included in that suite. you must use the suite's installation file (and you can choose to only install one program from the suite).

also, is your cs4 an upgrade from an early version?

if so, when starting your installation you're prompted for your cs4 serial number. when the installer fails to find a qualifying product (ie, previous version) installed, you will be presented with a dropdown of possible qualifying products. select the one you own. you will then be asked to enter the qualifying products serial number.

enter the correct number at the correct time and installation will proceed.
