CS5.5 to CS6 Upgrade

Hello.

I brought a CS5.5 Production Premium Student Edition for Mac with the offer to upgrade it to the newer CS6 Version for free.

Since I will buy a new Computer very soon, I would like to know if I could install the CS6 Upgrade on the new one later on after already installing it on the old machine and if yes, how can I do it?

With friendly regards,

Max

Yes. You simply install it like on your old machine. It will merely ask for the serial numbers.

Thanks!

Can I save the Installer of the CS6 Version on a external drive or do I simply have to download it on the new Mac again?

Is the downloadlink for the upgrade after installing the version once limited to a date?

Feel free to store the installer on whatever media you deem suitable. Would be smart to retain a backup, anyway. The download may not be available for technical reasons at some point or liek the CS5.5 the install may only be available for 30days officially and then you'll have to jump hoops to access it...
