CS5 CD/New Mac no CD drive

So I have been using my CS5 for a few years now on my Mac and I am perfectly happy with it. When I got it, I bought the CD and I have the activation code in the case. I have a new Mac which turns out does NOT have a  CD drive. If I can avoid it, I would rather not buy a CD drive and I really do not want to make a monthly/yearly payment for Adobe when what I have works fine for my needs. Can I download the version I have somewhere and use my activation code. Of course, when I logged into my adobe account it is having trouble loading my products. I have versions for both Mac and windows and I really don't feel like shelling out even more cash for the software that I already have so please do not tell me that I need to upgrade. If I cannot download it, I would rather just buy the CD drive but hopefully that is not necessary.

Also, CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or Sierra

--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility

I have been using it with El Capitain for a while with no problems on my iMac. We just bought a new Macbook pro and I want to be able to use it on there.

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!
