CS5 Design Premium fails to install on Windows8 (dev beta release)

I was working successfully with CS5 Design Premium for months on WindowsXP, but decided I need more memory. Due to memory limitation issues of WindowsXP of 3.5Gb I decided to try Windows8 (developers' beta version has been released).

Installation fails after selection of component parts - both for entire suite and for any individual products - Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc.

Specifically, I get this error message:

cpsid_83578r3: Error, "Validate license at Pre-chrome" when installing - Creative Suite 5

Click here for details and corrective...

I wonder if this can be corrected by Adobe or whether the answer is simply that I am experimenting with Windows8 way too early?

Is there anything I can do do properly reinstall?

Cheers, Alexei

Hi,

It is difficult to point of to the exact cause of the issue as the applications would not be tested for compatibility on beta versions of an operating system.

The document mentioned in the error posted above leads to this link : Install Log Error

The steps in the document are for Windows XP, Vista & 7.
