CS5 for mac is installed on an older mac. I have a new Mac Pro and iMac I want to install to. Can I do this, and if not what's my best option. I primarily use Photoshop out of the suite. Thank you!

Brad,

Thank you again.  What if I stay with my current version?  Do I have to deactivate my current computer to install on my 2 new ones?

Thank you,

Personally I'd just install without deactivating. Worse thing that will l happen is you will have to deactivate one. Doesn't mean you have to uninstall it just deactivate it and when you need it, just deactivate one of the others and activate the current one. But I would guess that CS5 since it isn't even supported any longer probably doesn't even track activations. I'm guessing on the last part but trying to install and activate without deactivating one won't hurt anything,

Agree with Brad but wish to add that if you have a backup drive with all your apps and files then you can download from that. I haven't done this directly but have someone that is Mac savvy and that I greatly trust do this. Has always worked for me and I have apps that go back to CS3 that I still need once in-awhile! I also am looking to update my equipment as current old MacPro will not keep up with all the newness.

If you still have the disks and/or install files and Serial Number you should have no problem. Power I would suggest since you primarily use Photoshop to check out the Photography Plan and always have the latest version.

Brad thank you.  Do I need to deactivate on my old Mac?

No, you wouldn't need to deactivate your old Mac if you are going with the newer Photography plan.
