CS5 Production Premium key not work with CS5.5?

Hi, I was hoping to update my Production Premium CS5 to CS5.5, but my key does not work. Shouldn't my key work for CS5.5 as well?

CS5.5 was a paid upgrade from CS5. Your CS5 serial number will only work with CS5.

You need a separate and valid CS5.5 serial number to activate CS5.5.
