CS5 re-install on mac?

Hello,

I did a fresh install of Yosemite on my mac. De-activated the Adobe CS5 and copied the serial before I erased the disk.
When I enter the serial in the new install, it says it is too short.

Do I need to add something to the serial? I still have the product code as well but hard to contact customer support apparently.
