CS5 upgrade to latest Elements version

I have Elements, and premier elements 7, plus a upgrade to CS5, I cannot load either on my new laptop, due to a missing driver, my question is, if I purchase the latest versions of Elements, and premier elements, will my CS5 upgrade still be valid?

if cs5 is working now, installing new versions of pse and/or premiere elements won't cause a problem.
