CS5 Windows/Mac Serial Number

I have photoshop cs5 extended which I brought a few years ago for my windows laptop. I have now purchased a macbook and seem unable to install the program on my mac, is there I can still install the software?

    Suites are OS-specific, meaning if you purchase a Windows version it will not work on a Mac platform.  You would have to swap to a Mac version, but swaps are only supported for the most current release, which is now CS6.

    If you want to run a Windows version on the Mac you can probably install a Windows emulator for that.

    Do you know anywhere I can get a good emulator for it, or would you recommend trying to sell and buy a mac version?

    I don't own a Mac so I can't begin to say which emulator might work best.  I have heard of Bootcamp and Parallels (I believe).

    CS5 is not for sale, so even if I would recommend buying it it would have to be by taking your chances with some thirds party vendor.  You can buy an upgrade to CS6 (Mac) with your CS5 (Windows) and save some money that way.
