CS6 activation ?

Hi, the online helper send me here. I have moved my CS6 design and web premium suite to another partition to have a dual boot mac. Consequently I was asked to register the copy online, but it does not work since the service is no longer active. Offline activation sends error messages too. It there a way I can still use my apps beyond the 30 days trial period?

1. you can't register more than once, and you don't need to register to use cs6 beyond the trial period

2. you need to activate your cs6 to use beyond the trial period (using your serial number).

so what error/message did you see when starting the installation?

My serial number is registred by Adobe and valid, I have been told. It is working on my MBP but no longer on the workstation due to moving files.

Yes that's precisely what I can't do anymore since this automated service is no longer active. Installing with the DVD runs into the same issue. The only way, would presumably be to get the proper file or number to be copied by hand in the proper receipt folder. This is my question.

Or for Adobe to offer non activation installer downloads as they did when they stopped providing activation for CS2.

so what error/message did you see when starting the installation?

it says more than activation process failed. it says you must have an active internet connection.

ie, whatever you're doing with your "dual boot drive" is causing a problem for adobe's installer. it's not able to detect an active internet connection from the problematic drive. you'll need to fix that to get to the next step, and nothing on adobe's end (ala cs2 or otherwise) is going to help.

how you fix that, i do not know.
