I had problems activating CS6 on a new Mac laptop, and after many hours online chatting to support, and many weeks of not being able to use the software, I finally was sent this list of files to delete having uninstalled all remains of the initial installation... it worked!

Manually remove the Adobe Files and folder:

MacHDD\Applications\Utilities\Adobe Installers\Uninstaller for the suite.

Mac HDD\Appl\Utilities\Adobe AIR installer n Uninstaller

Mac HDD\Appl\Utilities\Adobe Installers.

Mac HDD\Lib\Appl Supp\Adobe*

Mac HDD\Lib\Logs\Delete files or folder in regards to Adobe.

Mac HDD\Lib\Preferences\Delete Files in regards to Adobe n Flexnet Publisher folder.

Mac \Users\User Name\Lib\Appl Supp\Adobe

Mac HDD\Users\User Name\Lib\Logs\Delete files or folder in regards to Adobe.

Mac HDD\Users\User Name\Lib\Preferences\Delete Files in regards to Adobe.

Mac HDD\Users\Shared\Lib\App Supp\Adobe

Mac HDD\Users\Shared\Adobe
