Which operating system?

CS6 is 10+ year old software that was built for older computers and operating systems. It's discontinued & unsupported which is why the virtual assistant sent you to this user-to-user community.

If you have a paid Creative Cloud ALL APPS plan, I recommend that you use it instead of legacy CS6.  CC software is better and best of all it's updated regularly to remain compatible with new computers.

that's not part of the normal installation process for cs6 on a clean computer. specifically that sign-in prompt indicates adobe cc is or was installed on that computer which is probably going to complicate your cs6 installation.

the one exception to that complication is if you have a current all apps subscription and don't mind having your cs6 be part of that subscription.

so, do you have an all apps subscription?

Please check if your computer can access the Adobe servers. See the article below
