CS6 Design and Web Premium licence stopped working

Hi -

I hope someone here can help, because this is doing my head in.

CS6 worked fine on my old laptop. However, I have now bought a new one and transferred the licence by deactivating it on my old laptop and activating it on the new one. All was well for a few days - until I then tried to open up PhotoShop, when I got the "already in use by maximum allowed number of computers" again. So I fired up my old laptop - and got exactly the same message!

So I can now no longer open up my programs on either computer. Would really appreciate some help. 🙂

you're probably at the end of the road with cs6, but you can try re-activating on that old computer (help -> activate).

if that works, we can try to update that old computer so it can communicate with ad's servers.

Thanks @kglad This is really strange. I fired up the old laptop, and it decided to offer me a 15 day trial! I logged into my account and tried to activate it, but it insisted it was already installed on the maximum number of computers. However, it did at least let me activate a 15 day trial, so I could deal with the immediate problem.

So I logged into the same account on my new computer, but had the identical issue. The software is clearly not licensed on either computer, but Adobe seems to think it is.

For reference, I don't have help -> activate, only help - > deactivate (which is greyed out).

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

do you have or have your had, on your old computer, an adobe cc trial or subscription?
