CS6 downloaded but trial is still counting down.

I got a new mac laptop and transferred everything over form the old. When I opened CS6 on the new machine, it gave me a trial message encouraging me to purchase. I called Adobe, gave them the serial number, they emailed me the download link I needed, I downloaded and installed successfully. Went to open CS6 and the same Trial countdown opened in Acrobat reader informing me that my trial will end in 29 days. What's going on here? I have the purchased lic. software installed. Why does it still think I'm on trial?
