CS6 failing on Windows side, trying to switch to Mac side...

Apparently I'm stuck having to write this out on a forum and hope I get answers despite needing technical support from Adobe. CS6 no longer opens on the windows side (I have a Mac that runs both for a multitude of reasons), and need to switch it over to the Mac side so I can go ahead and just delete everything I can off the Windows side. My serial number won't work though. What do I do?

    Serial numbers are normally platform specific. If you originally purchased for Windows, the software will not work on Mac.

    The beauty of a Creative Cloud subscription is that you can run the applications on both Windows and Mac.

    In the past, they were able to switch my Lightroom over to the Mac side without trouble. I just want the same for this. I don't want creative cloud right now since I don't need it. I rarely use cs6, and would prefer that I not have to purchase  monthly subscription when I had purchased this license to begin with.
