CS6 installer doesn't appear to be working

I purchased an upgrade to CS6 Production Premium, downloaded the installer, clicked on it and nothing appeared to happen. When I try to click it again it says that another Adobe installer is already running. I've been getting this answer for 3 hours now. How do I get this to install?

By the way, I'm running an iMac on 10.9.3

or try to download CS6 Production Premium from this LINK:

I should have mentioned that I wasn't actually running any other installations. I'm only trying to install CS6 Prod Prem. That's it.

No matter. I followed your advice, force quit the Adobe Application Manager in Activity Monitor, and re-downloaded the whole package from the link you provided above. Unfortunately I'm getting the same behavior. Is the installer supposed to run completely behind the scenes or something? Or is there supposed to be some kind of panel with a progress bar?

    Is anyone actually reading these?

My issue has not been resolved.
