CS6 Master Suite Device Activation Reset

A level 2 Adobe support rep sent me here.

I am unable to reactivate by install of the Adobe CS6 Master Suite as I have reached the maximum device activations. I had some software issues that required full system reinstalls, which prevented me from deactivating my installs. Apparently, support is unable to reset activations anymore. Is there any way to reset this on my end? There are no devices listed under "Activated Devices" in my account page.

Correct answer kglad

you can only regain an activation by deactivating a computer with an activation.

Right. That only works for subscription products. Creative Suite is too old.

Legacy apps must be deactivated directly from the devices on which they were installed. And if that's no longer possible, you've reached the end of the CS6 road.  Besides, CS6 was built to run on much older computers & operating systems that no longer exist. There's no guarantee that unsupported CS6 would install, much less activate on newer technology.
