CS6 "may not be genuine" warning, but it is, and now won't install

I have had CS6 since shortly after its release. Recently I started getting warnings about it not being authentic. The serial # has been verified with Support four times. This time I was given a link to the online download and told to uninstall and reinstall using the download link. After uninstalling CS6, I tried to install with the link and got this error:

And I cannot find Adobe Support Advisor when clicking on the link or anywhere on Adobe site..

T then tried to download it from my DVD, I and I get this error:

Exit Code: 39 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW042 ... -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s)  ERROR: Directory does not exist : /Users/peabody08/Applications/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp/DECore/DE6/resources/uninstall/Uninstall Product.app ERROR: DW042: ARP Entry couldn't be created for language : en_US —————————————————————————————————————————— 
I cannot afford to continually pay for CC, so I really need to be able to use CS6, which I used for many years before getting these warning that it may not be genuine. I am using MacOS 10.14.1. What can I do?

    Peabud, your most recent error occurs when trying to use the Creative Suite installers under macOS 10.12 or later.  You can find a step by step workaround to resolve the error at Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) .  Please update this public forum discussion if you have any questions.

    When I tried this, I got the same Exit Code 39 failure.

    Peabud, did you open the Install application package and drag the Install Unix Executable to the open Terminal window?  I would recommend reviewing Installing Creative Suite on a new Mac or macOS 10.12 (Sierra) or later which also discusses this topic.
